  1. It's 1/2 cup of (1 stick) butter, room temperature.
  2. Prepare 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar.
  3. Prepare 1 tsp of vanilla.
  4. You need 2 cup of all-purpose flour.
  5. Prepare 1 can of (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk.
  6. You need 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  7. You need 1/2 cup of finely chopped walnuts or pecans.
  8. It's 1 lb of white, dark, or milk chocolate candy coating (I normally use white and milk chocolate).

  1. In a bowl combine butter and sugar on med - high speed until light and fluffy (about 2 mins).
  2. Beat in the flour, sweetened milk, and vanilla until incorporated. Beating well after each addition.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours so it's firm enough to handle.
  5. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls by rolling a spoonful in the palm of your hand. The dough is sticky so you can roll your fingers in flour to make it easier.
  6. Place on wax paper. Loosely cover and refrigerate for about 20-30 mins.
  7. In a bowl melt chocolate candy coating.
  8. Dip the cookie dough balls into the chocolate and place on parchment paper.
  9. Let sit until hard (about 15 mins).
  10. Once set, remelt candy coating and drizzle over truffles.
  11. Store in refrigerator and serve cold. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
