  6. You need 1 1/8 cup of - ap flour.

  2. Beat (with mixer) butter, both sugars and vanilla until well blended and creamy.
  3. Add egg; beat until blended.
  4. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture to sugar mixture, beating until well blended.
  6. STIR in chocolate chips.
  7. Refrigerate dough for at least 1 hour.
  8. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet (do not smash flat).
  9. Bake 10-12 minutes or until slightly browned.
  10. Cool on cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
